No idea the origin or what the publisher did with that. I found a teacher projector also. A light machine that teacher use on art school. If you put the acetate over teh top and turn on the light, you project the image over the wall with the light. Like a movie projector. The guy had a collection of this acetates. Maybe he didn't like movies he liked see covers projected over his living room wall. He wrote several books on 70's and 80's in brazil about the art of comic books, maybe he used as pieces for workshop for teach about how to draw comics.

Maybe he teach on art school? Who knows! I not a expert on the use of those things.

Anyway, you can use this pieces as decoration, put in frame or something. rO just collect this things. This is a original weird piece. Doesn look like old or vintage piece, because the acetate is in very nice condition.
