No idea what the publisher did with that. I found a teacher projector also. A light machine htat teacher use on school. If you put the acetate over the top and turn no the light, you project the image over the wall with the light.
Like a movie projector. The guy had a collection of this acetates. Maybe he didn't like movies he liked see covers projected over his livign room wall. I not a expret on the use of those things. Anyway, you can use this pieces as decoration, put in frame or something.
